all smiles when he heard that his idea brought him a $525 award. Louis, a Data Processing
Technician wrote a program that resulted in consideralable savings in programming

the test routiner in the automatic Telex Exchange which has reduced systemwide maintenance

The first telephone
cable between America and Japan was inaugurated on June 18th with a call between President
Lyndon B. Johnson and Premier Hayato Ikeda of Japan
The call spanned 10,000 miles with the clarity of a call across town. Seated on the
